What’s the point of telling other’s about Jesus?  Why do we do it?  Does Jesus matter?  Similarly, why do we spend huge sums of money to send people to foreign countries to tell people about Jesus?  They may slave away for decades, enduring the persecution of local governments and cultures, possibly even risking their lives - and still see only a handful of new believers.  And then those new believers may have to face some of the same troubles.  Why do we do it?

Have you ever tried to hear God?  Have you had much success, or have you been distracted by other things? Has the background noise permanently prevented you from hearing God?  If not, how have you been able to drown out the background noise and really hear God’s voice?
