The Great Commission is very clear, and I think we all agree, that our mission is to take the good news to the entire world. Beyond that our agreement begins to break down. Assuming for the moment our only goal is to reach as many people as possible, how should we best go about it? Do we reach non-believers with mass events (crusades, Promise Keepers, etc)? Do we reach non-believers with weekly church services? Do we reach non-believers with small groups? Do we reach non-believers one-on-one? evangelism and small groups and worship 2:17 pm
At TMC, we’re trying to place a lot of emphasis on small groups. Unquestionably, small groups give us the advantage of close relationships with people. But could we do more? Should we be trying to do evangelism with our small groups? Should we be worshiping with our small groups? Are there other activities we should be doing in our small groups?
